Coordinates and managers short-term study abroad programs, generally two – six weeks in length. The programs involve intensive study of courses in an international location. Examples of programs include: 1) Europe – Studies in Humanities & the Holocaust: Poland; 2) West Africa – UNI May Institute in Burkina Faso; 3) Honduras – Globalization’s Impact on Central America.

International Travel Experience: Travel in Europe – Poland, Germany, France, and Spain. Had experience as keynote presenter at conferences in Canada. B.A. (Business and Office Education (Teaching), University of Northern Iowa. M.A. ( Business Education (Teaching), University of Northern Iowa.

Secretary and receptionist for the Study Abroad Center in International Programs. Schedules appointments, prepares International Student Identity Cards and directs people making inquiries regarding long and short-term study abroad opportunities.

Resident of Traer, IA. A former high school English/speech teacher. International Programs is her third UNI home, having earlier worked in the University Museum and then in Intercollegiate Athletics. Holds a B.A. degree in Drama from Culver-Stockton College in Canton, MO. In spare time writes, directs, and acts for a local community theatres.
