Fatih University, located in Istanbul, Turkey, provides students a unique opportunity to experience a variety of cultures. Located at the mixing point of eastern and western cultures, students will be able to witness and participate in an old and blended culture. Courses at the university are conducted entirely in English, so students may be able to select courses applicable to their major or select something purely from interest such as Turkish literature. The variety or courses, cultures, and experiences are sure to give students an enjoyable study abroad experience.

Program City

Fifteen million inhabitants, coming from all kinds of races today, live in what was once fabulous Byzantium before becoming Constantinople, the splendid and now beautiful Istanbul. The outline of its domes, the silhouette of its minarets, the long bridge spanning the Bosporus, and the stretch of water known as the Golden Horn, all join to make this city unique throughout the world. It is recognizable, mysterious, and magical while built at the meeting place where two continents merge, Europe and Asia, the place where West meets the East.

Accommodation & Meals

Students will be housed in the university dormitories, which are provided with full furniture, internet, study rooms, a cafeteria, and laundry. Shuttle services also run from the dormitories to campus. In total, the university operates eight dormitories, and two meals a day are included in the housing costs. Lunch is available through the campus cafeteria and costs approximately $5 for each meal.

Program Cost

Fatih University operates an exchange program with UNI, allowing students to pay their normal UNI tuition while abroad. Semester programs cost approximately $9,000 and include tuition, books, airfare, room and board, documents, and health insurance. Studying at Fatih for an academic year will cost approximately $17,000 and also includes tuition, books, airfare, room and board, documents and health insurance.
