About UNI SHRM

Our Mission:

· . "to facilitate a connection between the students and the business world around them, to provide information and experiences that will enrich the learning experience of the student, and to act as support and guidance for students interested in the field of HR."

UNI SHRM 

           Is club for students interested in human resource management. It gives members a chance to network with professionals in the field of human resources. Through field trips, attending the Cedar Valley SHRM meetings and other activities the members of UNI SHRM have a great opportunity to meet with influential members of the human resources field. UNI SHRM visits human resource departments in great organizations including HNI in Muscatine, IA, John Deere, Motorola, and other excellent organizations. UNI SHRM members also participate in other career enhancing activities including, volunteer projects, organizational consulting projects, community service projects, and other events. Nationally affiliated, SHRM is the most widely recognized organization for human resource professionals.

Committees

             There are a number of committees that SHRM members can join to make the most of there experience in this great organization. These committees coordinate a number of activitees that lead UNI to being one of the leading organizations on campus. The committees include:
