Congratulations to Sam Snyder for finishing 3rd in the Women's Overall. The Kentucky Invitational was a great start for our club.

This is an organization that allows advanced and beginner shooters to get together and enjoy not only the sport of shooting, but beginners will be able to learn how to shoot and techniques of gun safety. They will also be able to learn common shooting games. In addition to this, the advanced shooters will have the option to compete against other schools such as Iowa State University in order to represent the University of Northern Iowa in the sport of shooting.

While in the first year of existence the team is growing in members and community awareness.

Bringing home 7 medals from the 2008 Winter Iowa Games the Trap and Skeet Club are looking forward to the competition season. Using the Iowa Games to prepare for future events, we took Silver and Bronze in Single Open Division Trap and Gold and Silver in Doubles Open Division Trap. The women of team took an outstanding 4 of 7 medals. Sweeping Doubles and taking Silver and Bronze in Singles.
