"I'm an accounting major so
at first I was a bit skeptical about a sales and marketing group. The more
I thought about it,
the more I realized that I couldn't do without sales
experience. After all, my goal is to enter in to a career in Public
Accounting
and eventually be a partner in an accounting firm. One
of a partner's main responsibilities is to bring in new business for the
firm. If I only cared about doing accounting and tax
work I might be missing out on a great opportunity to someday help in
growing the business. Besides the skills in sales and
marketing that I will take with me when I leave UNI, I've also met
hundreds of people who are either currently professionals, or
will be professionals in other industries when I am in the working
world. You never know when a connection you made in PSE
