UNI Proud encourages anyone interested to see David Levithan speak. Here is the Cedar Falls Public Library's information on the event: "In May, the Cedar Falls Public Library will be hosting author David Levithan.

Mr. Levithan is the author or co-author of many books, including Boy Meets Boy (Lamda Award); Are We There Yet?; Love is a Higher Law; Will Grayson, Will Grayson (with John Green); and Nick & Norah’s Infinite Playlist (with Rachel Cohn). His first release for the adult (or, in his words, post-teenager) reading market, The Lover’s Dictionary, was released in January. Not content to simply be a successful author, he also is an editorial director at Scholastic, where he has worked ever since he received a college internship there. He edited the Lamda Award-winning anthology The Full Spectrum and is the founding editor of Scholastic’s PUSH imprint, publisher of innovative authors like Kevin Brooks (Being) and Patricia McCormick (Cut)."
