What Is MBLGTACC?

MBLGTACC is the largest LGBTA college conference in the nation. It is an annual conference that is hosted at a different Midwest college each year and features about 90 educational workshops, as well as nationally-recognized speakers and entertainers.

When Is It?

MBLGTACC 2013 will be held February 8-10, 2013, at the Lansing Center in Lansing, Mich., and is organized by students from Michigan State University.

How Do I Register?

Okay, since no one else has shared the great news yet...UNI Proud has a new office and hangout space for next year!!

Thanks to the hard work of Kaitlin Korbitz, Melissa Payne, Lyn Redington and the Dean of Students Office on campus...as well as every individual who has worked to make the need for space a visible issue on campus....

...drumroll please...

UNI Proud, One Iowa at UNI and UNI Trans*genda will have the Purple Pen Room in Maucker Union for meeting, gathering, hanging out, and other stuff!!!!

Some of the Presidential Candidates for NISG will be joining us, come tell them what you want them to do for our community!
Then the MBLGTACC-ers are going to tell us about their awesome time in Ames!
Then Kaitlin Korbitz is going to lead us in an eye-opening educational activity.

Bring your questions for the candidates and a pen and paper!

Be sure and make it out to the Progressive Picnic this Thursday from 430-730 at Lawther field! There will be fee food, drink, sno-cones, games and more!
