CEDAR FALLS, Iowa -- Complete textbook information for fall 2008 classes at the University of Northern Iowa is now available at PantherSupply.com. The Northern Iowa Student Government (NISG) has partnered with University Book and Supply to offer textbook information 14-30 days before classes begin.

Students can go to the PantherSupply.com, and follow the "textbooks" link. Once there, pick the Fall 2008 term from the drop-down menu and enter your class information.
Governor Culver has encouraged institutions of higher learning to provide specific textbook information, such as title, author and ISBN number, to students in advance so they can comparison shop.

This is just one of the services NISG has provided to UNI students. Other NISG services include: Panther Shuttle, Panther Shuttle Weekend SafeRide, televisions for Maucker Union and the NISG student housing list. According to Brandon Neil, NISG director of public relations, "NISG is currently working on new outreach initiatives that include podcasts to the student body and an improved, easy-to-navigate Web site: www.uni.edu/nisg.
