The Northern Iowa Student Government was formed because we, the students of the University of Northern Iowa, exist not only as individuals, but also as a community. The purpose of NISG, and its constitution, is to unify our student community by establishing this student government. The Northern Iowa Student Government is committed to improving the administration of student affairs, encouraging the greatest level of communication and cooperation, ensuring the protection of student rights, and providing excellence in education.
