Employers like to see students
involved in organizations related to their major or
related areas. Being a member of MISA gives the students
a great opportunity to work outside of the classroom
with faculty. The Information Management field deals
a lot with teamwork. The members of MISA not only work
together in classes but also in this organization. You
will build your communication skills, social skills,
and your people skills in this organization! As always
we take a Spring trip to a corporate headquarters (2001-2
school year was at Deere & Co), and we will be giving
away an MP3 player and digital camara. For further information
see our "About MISA"
web page.
