Every September the University invites all students' families to visit and attend activities for Family Weekend. During this event the Greek Community provides their families with events to let them know a little more about Greek Life as well as to have a good time. Other events include tailgate parties before the UNI football game, a nice meal, or even a picnic or barbecue.

Every year, around the first week in October, thousands of alumni come back to UNI to celebrate Homecoming. Fraternities and sororities team up to for a week of activities that include building floats for the Homecoming Parade, creating cheers for the Panther Pride cry, painting windows on the hill and much more.

Greek Week is a week long event packed full of events for the fraternities and sororities to show their Greek spirit. Activities include a Kick Off Day with live bands, Flag Football, the Greek God & Goddess competition, and an Awards BBQ.
