The importance of social life in the Greek community is to help you grow and mature into a responsible individual. Each fraternity and sorority has a line up of social activities that includes both formal and informal events and brotherhood/sisterhood activities. Throughout the year fraternities and sororities participate in many social events such as Homecoming, Parent's Weekend, formals, date nights, theme parties, dinners, dances, barbecues, and other special events. Frequently two or more chapters will get together to sponsor a joint party for members and guests as well.

Social activities are not required, but there is no comparison anywhere to the variety, scale, safety, and fun of Greek sponsored events. As a member of Greek life, there is always something going on every day of the week!
