Admissions pushes for more peer outreach

Panther Push is an outreach program where UNI students return to their hometown high schools to give prospective students insight about life on campus and encourage them to consider UNI.  The Panther Push committee has been hard at work the last couple weeks and is hoping for a record-setting year in terms of participation, seeking to sign up over 300 students and breaking the 1998 record of 200.

Dr. Casiano completes licensing requirements

David Towle, Director of Counseling Services, has recently announced that Dr. Ruby Casiano has successfully completed all requirements to be licensed as a psychologist in the state of Iowa, effective June 4, 2012.  Licensure is granted by the Iowa Department of Public Health, Bureau of Professional Licensure, following completion of an approved doctoral program in psychology, completion of a 2,000 hour pre-doctoral internship, one year of supervised post-doctoral clinical experience, and passing the national Examination for Professional Practice of Psychology (EPPP).  Dr.
