New Student Health Clinic pharmacist prepared to fulfill high expectations for service

Angie Steffen is the new pharmacist at the Student Health Clinic Pharmacy.  The pharmacy is located in the Student Health Center and is part of University Health Services.  Angie will assist personnel who fill prescriptions and help students who are seeking over-the-counter medications.
 
Angie was previously employed as a pharmacist at Walgreens.  She is a graduate of The University of Iowa College of Pharmacy.
 

Maucker Union updates expand potential uses for ballroom and lobby

Guests and the campus community were introduced to the Maucker Union improvements March 20 at an open house event. Maucker Union staff explained the extensive infrastructure work including heating, cooling, ventilation, lighting and media support. New surfaces and furnishing in the lobby are part of the project.
 

Student Disability Services offers accessibility workshop for student organizations

In an effort to support the UNI Diversity Mission to create and maintain an inclusive educational environment, The Office of Student Disability Services is offering a workshop for all UNI Student Organization officers and their members to discuss and provide recommendations for accessibility for all UNI Student Organization sponsored events, programs and meetings. The workshop is from 5:30 to 6:15 p.m. on Thursday, March 8 in the State College room in Maucker Union.
