Graduate students from the Postsecondary Education: Student Affairs Program at UNI found themselves in Madison, Wisconsin November 4-6 for the NASPA (National Association of Student Personnel Administrators) Region IV-E Conference. Students were afforded the opportunity through the partnership the PSE program has with the student affairs division at UNI. NASPA was founded in 1919 and since then has more than 13,000 members, in all 50 states, and 29 countries.

The Department of Residence is seeking resident assistants for the 2013-2014 academic year. RA’s receive compensated room and board, and a $1,200 stipend. Panther Push is an outreach program where UNI students return to their hometown high schools to give prospective students insight about life on campus and encourage them to consider UNI. The Panther Push committee has been hard at work the last couple weeks and is hoping for a record-setting year in terms of participation, seeking to sign up over 300 students and breaking the 1998 record of 200.
Congratulations to the WRS on its launch of the new interactive monthly magazine for students that is full of useful information. The monthly magazine includes articles related to healthy eating habits, self-esteem, exercise, and much more. You can check out the most recent edition here.
