Ashley Minshall assumed the position of the new Program Coordinator/Campus Activities at the Student Involvement and Activities Center in the Maucker Union on July 5. Her primary responsibilities include advising Campus Activities Board, Panther Productions, homecoming and leading student programming and related initiatives for the Student Involvement and Activities Center.
Minshall received her BS in History in 2009 and her M.S. in Counseling and Student Personnel, Student Affairs in 2011, both from Minnesota State University, Mankato. Her graduate experience includes the areas of student activities, first-year experience, Career Development Center, multicultural affairs and student conduct.
Minshall applied for the coordinator position here because her mentor, Melissa Iverson, a former UNI staff member, told her UNI was a great place to work and it was Minshall’s dream job to work with campus activities and students. As program coordinator, Minshall hopes to increase student involvement and get as many students as possible involved on campus.
