| Hear from the Dean of Students about the role families play in supporting and
facilitating student success. This session will include information about strategies for communication between
students, families, and the University. |

| 10:00-11:00 a.m. Student Services Panel Discussion |
| The University of Northern Iowa offers many resources to promote student success both in and out of the
classroom. This panel provides an opportunity for you to learn about those resources, and to identify effective ways to encourage
your students to use them. Panelists will discuss academic support services, career services, on-campus housing, dining, technology
and computing information, and student health. |

| 11:15-12:00 p.m. Academic Life and Expectations Panel |
| Hear from a panel of faculty members about academic expectations, faculty
commitment to teaching, student research opportunities, and other topics related to your student's
classroom experience. You'll be encouraged to ask questions about any academic topic, from
examinations to class participation. |

| 12:00-1:00 p.m. Lunch and Student Panel Discussion |
| Join faculty and staff for lunch, and take the opportunity to interact with current students. Learn more about life at UNI from a distinctly student point of view. |

| 1:00-3:00 p.m. Student Services Fair |
| You'll have an opportunity to learn about offices and resources available to help
you succeed during your time at UNI. Talk one-to-one with University staff about topics such as financial aid,
billing, parking, academic support services, on-campus living, athletics, and campus involvement. |
