Participants in November 19 event affirm dedication to diversity
More than 100 members of the University of Northern Iowa community gathered at the central campus fountain plaza November 19 to protest acts of vandalism and harassment.
"The intention of the event was to create an opportunity for the campus community to peacefully show their dedication and commitment to diversity. As a university community, we promote and work to advance an environment of mutual respect, dignity and tolerance," said President Ben Allen.
