2009 Annual reports document involvement in University Health Services
Services of the University of Northern Iowa Student Health Clinic, Counseling Center and Wellness and Recreation Services have been summarized in annual reports.
Student Health Clinic reports indicate number of visits by category, revenue sources and expenses by category and patient prescriptions data. Preventive health (such as immunizations, physicals and health education) was the top purpose for student use of the Health Clinic in 2009, followed by disease and disorder of the respiratory system.
The Counseling Center annual report documents Initial assessments, telephone consultations and individual therapy sessions each increased more than 10 percent over the previous year.
Wellness and Recreation Services data reported in the annual summary includes participation rates for individual and group opportunities, outdoor recreation and sports clubs. The total number of registrations for fitness/leisure classes was up more than 100 in 2009.
