UNI employee Clint Holtz honors his supervisor, Lisa Krausman, with National Guard Award Nomination

The Iowa committee for employer support of the Guard and Reserve, an agency of the Department of Defense, announced that Lisa Krausman, Manager of Rialto Dining at University of Northern Iowa, was honored with a Patriotic Employer Award in recognition of extraordinary support of employees who serve in the Iowa National Guard and Reserve.

According to the organization, the Patriotic Employer Award was created to publicly recognize individuals who provide outstanding patriotic support and cooperation to their employees. Lisa Krausman was nominated for being supportive of the 2Lt Clint Holtz, a member or the Iowa Army National Guard.

In his nomination, Clint wrote: Lisa worked very hard with me to ensure that I receive all benefits in my absence for training. This was all done despite it only being my third moth working at UNI. She has always been very supportive of my decision to be a member of the armed services.
Clint is an assistant manager at Rialto at the University of Northern Iowa. He began his current position in August 2009 and previously was employed as a student employee at Rialto.
