Here's some pictures of my family.  My children include Jessica, born in 1979; Sally, born in 1984, and Benjamin, born in 1987.  The most recent addition to my family, Parker, was born on July 4th 1999. In addition, Annette Lynch, my spouse has two children, Mary and Madeleine.

Here is a rare, all inclusive photograph of my family taken in March of 2007 in Jacksonville, Florida. From left to right are Staar, Jessica, Benjamin, Sally, Parker, Annette and me.

Jessica graduated magna cum laude from the University of North Florida with a degree in Communications, focused on Advertising. She has worked for the Jacksonville Florida Superbowl Host Committee. Jess was married to Staar Russell in April 2004. She is an avid dog person, owning a Chihuahua and a color matched Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. She is currently taking care of two children, my grandsons Holden and Finney. Below you can see photos of Jess and Staar, as well as Holden, Finney, and Parker.

 

 

 

bullet Here's my middle daughter Sally.  She earned a degree in Sociology at East Carolina University and completed her JD at the Charlotte School of Law. Sally practices criminal law in Wilmington, NC and married Matthew about a year ago. Below is a photo of Annette, Sally and Matthew at their wedding.

My oldest son Ben graduated from UNI with a degree in Electronic Communications at the University of Northern Iowa. Below is a recent shot of him leaving our home. He currently does technical work with Weather Nation in Denver, CO.
 


 


 

 

bullet On July 4, 1999 a new member entered the Strauss / Lynch household.  Annette gave birth to Parker Van Dyke Strauss at about 5:20 pm at the Covenant Hospital in Waterloo, Iowa.  He was 7 pounds and 11 ounces, and quite healthy.  How time flies! Parker is now eighteen years old. He will be attending the University of Iowa in Fall of 2018 in the honors program to study actuarial science.

Here's a photograph of my blended family.  Annette and I married in the Summer of 1997.  Annette, also known by UNI student's as Dr. Lynch works in the same Textile and Apparel Program as I do.  This photo was taken on the day of our marriage in the town of Bayfield, Wisconsin, which is across the bay from Madeleine Island on Lake Superior.  An Australian tourist took this shot with my camera!  We posed in front of a public gazebo.  From left to right are me, Annette, my children Sally and Ben, and her children Mary and Madeleine.   Unfortunately, my oldest daughter Jessica could not be there that day.
