The day will start with a large group activity where our 5th through 8th grade students will break into small groups and look at the five gaming elements. We will use Rock/Paper/Scissors as the common game and explore what happens when you change a game element. Through discussion students will get the idea that planning and trial and error are part of the process. Next students will get to choose from one of 8 stations to explore. Right now we have the following stations. The idea is to spend 15 min. showing the program and then letting students go right to creating using the programs for another 35 min.
