Student teachers in Davenport and surrounding school districts work with diverse students in three types of public schools where almost any academic major can be placed.   The public schools include suburban, inner-city, and rural agricultural.   One elementary school includes a K-5 bilingual program.   Plus, a private organization operates another elementary school.   Cadre members attend the weekly student teaching seminar and communicate with student teachers regularly.
