Student teachers in area urban and rural school districts experience diversity in socio-economic status, English as a Second Language students, and a true middle school program.   Cooperating teachers and principals work professionally with student teachers to help build the future of the teaching profession.   Like many other UNI student teaching Centers, student teachers meet with Cadre members who provide feedback on action research and teaching skills.
