Project Goals
- Enhance the efficiency and increase the effectiveness of critical business processes associated with student-related information services.
- Engage as many stakeholders as possible in a highly interactive and collaborative process to identify and validate requirements for a new student information system.
- Utilize a web-based tool to assist with the business process review and RFP generation.
- Create a detail-level RFP for student information software.
- Identify opportunities for optimization of business processes.
- Establish a high degree of University-wide understanding of the SIS project.
- Develop an estimated timetable and budget for software acquisition, system deployment and related processes.
- Ensure an informed, efficient and justifiable SIS selection decision.
- Manage overall processes within given time frame through schedule management and progress reporting.
