2013 Student Organization
Leadership Conference

The conference will be held on Saturday, January 26th from 9:30am-4:00pm. Currently we are requesting programs to be submitted by UNI students, faculty and staff. This conference is being developed mainly for student organization leaders and executives as a resource and will offer programs on a range of topics, including: Motivation of Organization Members, Event Planning, Budgeting, Team Development, and many more! We are looking for programs to address these topics and find this a win-win opportunity for students to both present at and participate in a professional level conference. Presenters will receive full access to the conference, lunch, and a certificate for their presentation.

Door prizes will also be awarded. Submit a program today and be sure to sign up your organization for this valuable conference!

Workshop Proposal Guidelines:

  • Presentations must be no longer than 30 minutes (including Q&A time)
  • Please include any technology you may need (laptop, audio/visual, etc)
  • Workshop Focus must be on one of the following topics:
    • Motivation of Organization Members
    • Motivating Leaders
    • Event Planning
    • Budgeting
    • Student Organization Resources
    • Advertising
    • Team Development
    • Recruitment

Conference Information:

  • Conference will take place Saturday, January 26th, 2013 from 9:30am-4:00 pm
  • Lunch will be included during conference for all participants and presenters
  • You will only be required to stay for your 30 minute session, but as a presenter you are welcome to attend other sessions
  • You may be asked to give your presentation for more than one session throughout the day

Workshop Proposals are due by
Friday, November 16th, 2012


Proposals will be reviewed and presenters contacted by Friday, December 7, 2012.
