Student Committee

The Student Involvement Center Service & Leadership committee is a group of student leaders who are responsible for planning and implementing many of the Student Involvement Center's programs, providing ideas and brainstorming new programs and topics to ensure students are receiving the kinds of programs and events that they want.

This is a great way to get involved, meet other student leaders and make a difference on campus through leadership programming! You will also gain valuable skills such as teamwork, communication, event planning and many others.

	KaLeigh White KaLeigh is a junior Sociology major from Ottumwa, Iowa. KaLeigh loves the leadership building opportunities the SLC offers. KaLeigh’s advice to anyone who wants to grow as an individual while also improving their community is to get involved.
	Abby Wenck Abby is a senior Accounting major from Lidderdale, Iowa. Abby loves getting to meet new people and build her own leadership abilities through the committee.
	Rachel Smithart Rachel is a junior Social Science Teaching major from Altoona, Iowa. Rachel enjoys how the committee focuses on the strengths of students and pushes them forward as individuals. Rachel says others should be involved with Service & Leadership because leadership and community involvement leads to greater satisfaction here at UNI.
	Blake Findley Blake is a junior from New Virginia, Iowa. Blake loves the service and leadership opportunities provided that have helped him grow.  Students should join because it is a great way to show that you value service and leadership and it provides a great chance to meet other dedicated student leaders across campus.
	Janae Holtkamp Janae is a senior Accounting major from Marion, Iowa. Janae loves that the Service & Leadership has given her the opportunity to meet new people, help the community, and grow as a person! She recommends others should be involved with the committee to have a great time and improve their leadership skills.
