In light of recent events, a consultative session with the Provost is in order.

Clearly indicate the action you wish the Senate to take relative to your petition, beginning with the phrase, "Therefore, be it resolved....": 

The Senate agrees to have a consultative session with Provost Gibson. This petition will be moved to the head of the docket for immediate consideration and will occur on Monday February 27, 2012. Additionally, be it resolved that the Senate will move into executive session for this consultation.
