The General Education Revisioning Committee would like to provide an update to the Senate regarding some revisions they have made to the proposed structure of our general education program, based on feedback from their meetings with faculty. The GERC would also like to inform us of its plans to complete its work during the remaining weeks of the semester.
Therefore, be it resolved that the General Education Revisioning Committee has consulted with the University Faculty Senate.

They include results of the recent survey as well as resulting adjustments to the structure recommended by the committee. Robert Martin has requested Emeritus status.
Therefore, be it resolved that the University Faculty Senate has approved a request from Robert Martin (History) for Emeritus status.
The Interdisciplinary Task Force, charged by the Faculty Senate last year, completed its initial work and has submitted its report.
Therefore, be it resolved that the Faculty Senate has received the report of the Interdisciplinary Task Group. Further, the Interdisciplinary Task Group was discharged, given successful completion of its charge and that the venue for completing its recommendations will be as a Focused Working Group in Academic Positioning.
