Universal Design Resources

Universal design is defined as the design of products and environments to be usable by all people, to the greatest extent possible, without the need for adaptation or specialized design (Center for Universal Design, 2011). In the classroom, universal design in learning (UDL) aims to maximize learning and meet the needs of all diverse learners. UDL seeks to remove barriers in the classroom and promotes equal access for all students.
