In a team of three, you will each be a
genetics
specialist, in one area of genetics. People come
to you to find out things like what diseases are they likely to get,
and what charateristics their unborn children will have based on
their genetics. There are several
couples in your local area who have come to your team's
office and asked for your assistance. Your task as the genetics
specialist,
is to research the different characteristics that can be inherited from
the parents. Each of your team members
will choose a task to research. After you have become an expert
in your specific area of genetics you will meet with your team and make
a presentation to the parents about what characteristics their children
will have and why.
