Task:
For the broadcast about the Second World War your producer
wants to
include information about how large certain countries military forces
were. He also wants to include information about how many soldiers and
civilians were killed during the war and what percentage of the forces
and population were killed. He then wants to do a segment on the cost
of the war. You are to research how much each country spent on the war
and what percentage of the total cost was spent by each country. You
will represent this data to your producer in the form of a chart and a
graph. While doing your research you were able to find some of the
information but not all of it that you need. You arranged the
information that you
found into a table but it has many facts missing. Your job is to
complete the tables by using the data you have already found. Then you
will create two circle graphs to represent the data you found on US
lending and the distribution of money spent by various countries. This
all must be completed before handing in your final report to your
producer.
Process:
1. Print a copy of the Military forces table that you have
started and
finish
completing the empty cells by using the information that you already
have found.
2. Using the table provided create a circle graph that represents how
the
spending during the war was distributed between different countries.
3. Using the table provided create a circle graph that represents how
the
money that the US loaned to other countries is distributed by
percentage.
