You have been assigned to write a segment about the circulatory system.  You will be given a chance to include information that you feel is important to share with the public.  Your story should fill the amount of time we have scheduled (1-2 pages).

Your producer has made a list of facts that he/she feels are important and must be included in the segment.  They are listed below.  There are also some web sites that the producer feels are good resources and would be very useful in your hunt for the facts.  Good luck, and write well.

Please include the following information in your segment:

Print off Circulatory System Guide Sheet Click Here

*The average size of a heart.   Use yours as an example.

*How to find the target heart rate.  Include your target heart rate as an example.

*List and describe the three major parts of the circulatory system.

*The average amount of blood in liters that the circulatory system transports throughout the human body.

* Approximate range of heart beats per minute.

* List the parts of the heart in the order which blood flows through them.
