7th Grade Mathematics
Standards:
| 1. Understands the causes of course of World War II, the character of the war at home and abroad, and its reshaping of the U.S. role in world affairs. |
| 2. Understands how different countries were aligned during World War I (e.g., the system alliances through which Europe organized itself into World War I, the role militarism played in these alliances, and the reasons for the war's expansion beyond European boundaries become a world war; immediate cause for the entry of difference nations into World War I. |
| 3. Uses a variety of strategies in the problem solving process. |
| 4. Formulates a problem, determines information required to solve the problem, chooses methods for obtaining this information, and sets limits for acceptable solutions. |
| 5. Understands the structure and function of cells and organisms. |
| 6. Knows that multicellular organisms have a variety of specialized cells, tissues, and organs that perform specialized functions (digestion, respiration, reproduction, circulation, control and coordination, protection from disease). |
