7th Grade Mathematics
Standards:

 
1.  Understands the causes of course of World War II, the character of the war at home and abroad, and its reshaping of the  U.S. role in world affairs.
2.  Understands how different countries were aligned during World War I (e.g., the system alliances through which Europe organized itself into World War I, the role militarism played in these alliances, and the reasons for the war's expansion beyond European boundaries become a world war; immediate cause for the entry of difference nations into World War I.
3.  Uses a variety of strategies in the problem solving process.
4.  Formulates a problem, determines information required to solve the problem, chooses methods for obtaining this information, and sets limits for acceptable solutions.
5.  Understands the structure and function of cells and organisms.
6.  Knows that multicellular organisms have a variety of specialized cells, tissues, and organs that perform specialized functions (digestion, respiration, reproduction, circulation, control and coordination, protection from disease).
