Activity Task

In honor of your new emperor Hadrius your
Province will build a triumphal arch.

You and your partner will need to go to
Rome and research Roman architecture
and engineering.

You will need to make an architectural
and engineering manual that includes
elements of Roman architecture and
construction techniques.

When your manual is finished you will return to
your province and organize the building of the
Triumphal Arch of Hadrius.

The Architectural and Engineering
manual will be used for future building projects.

Hadrius will pay for the building of the arch as a
public reminder of his generosity.

When you are through with your article you will draw a scale drawing of an arch and label the parts.  You will also draw a sketch to scale of the triumphal arch for the Emperor.
