This unit must be used in an eighth grade science class and include simple math.

The unit is based on the science standards under Benchmark 1 and a math standard under Benchmark 3.

We have covered science standards under benchmarks 1 and math standard benchmark 3.
            
 Knows how features on the earth's surface are constantly changed by a combination of slow and rapid processes(e.g, slow process, such as weathering,  erosion, transport, and deposition of sediment caused by waves, wind water and                 ice; rapid process, such as landslides, volcanic eruptions, and earthquakes)
             
Uses basic and advanced procedures while performing the process of  computation.

Uses general skills and strategies of the writing precess.

Teacher notes

 -This webquest will be taught over two or three class periods. students should have  a computer with Internet access.



Conclusion

These students will understand and know these 4 disasters more in detail after they have done this webquest. They will have more insight in all these areas.
