Drugs, the Body, and YOU!

Activity One

Activity One:

You are a detective.  You will look for clues on five different kinds of drugs.  These drugs are as follows:
  • Alcohol
  • Tobacco
  • Marijuana
  • Methamphetamines
  • Inhalants. 
The key clues you need to find are the following:
    1.) Clues on how these drugs affect you
    2.) Clues how these drugs become a habit, or in other words why are they addictive
    3.) Clues on what they look like
    4.) Clues that explain how people act when they are addicted to these drugs.
Then you will make a report about all five of these drugs.  Also make a 'Say No to Drugs' pamphlet on all of these drugs and why they are bad for you.
How?

You will need to use the Resource Page within this webquest to search for your clues to find the information needed to complete the above task.  You may want to print this page off as reference while looking back at the Resource Page so that you are better equipped to gather and process the clues that you find.

  • Your imagination for the pamphlet.
