Conclusion

You have now learned about children's experiences all over the world during WWII. You have learned about Elsa, a Jewish girl in Germany; Joseph Komoto, a Japanese American living in an internment camp; Shanice, an African American girl living in the the United States; Somchai, a Japanese boy living in Japan; and Joe, a boy living in the United States. The children all had very different experiences, and lived very different lives. However, they could all still relate to one another. Even in a time of world crisis, they still thought about their old friends. How do you think you and your friends would cope during a world crisis today?
