Today you have been hired as the newest reporter for the Washington Post.  You will not be able to take this job lightly, you will be required to look at an event or person from World War II and investigate his or her involvement or the purpose they served in the war.  Since this is a World War, and events are also likely to take place, you should choose carefully what you think is an important part of the war and research it to the best of your ability.  As a member of the press, you need to be confident in your findings; furthermore, make sure they are accurate and written in the correct format.  As a reporter, you will need to have your paper approved by the editor, your teacher, to make sure your grammar, wording, and styling is correct.  After your copy has been approved, you will be able to publish it in the official copy of the World War II Washington Post.  Since you will have your article published, it will need to contain all of the information you can find.  You should cover this event as if World War II were still going on.  Act as though you are trying to inform the public about this present war. Good Luck with your newest assignment!
