This is where you will begin writing like a true journalist.

1.  Review the general information given to you about the different World War II topics and choose which one you will write about.
2.  After picking your topic, decide if you will be writing in past or present tense.
3.  You will have two in-class days where you will be able to research your topic.  Any additional research will have to be on your own time.
4.  Keep in mind that like a real reporter; the information you collect will need to come from a variety of places; the internet, books, interviews, journals, etc...
5.  After becomming an expert on your topic and gathering all of the information you need, you will begin writing your article.
6.  There is not a length requirement for this assignment.  However, your article needs to be complete and free of any grammatical errors.
7.  The presentation of the article should be polished, here are some tips:

8.  After you have completed your article hand it in to the editor, teacher,  for some final revisions.
9.  We want this paper to look sharp, so fix those mistakes and hand in the final copy for the front page.  Good luck, and have fun!
