Counselor Education Scholars' Symposium - Graduate Counseling Program

The Graduate Program in Counseling hosts their annual Counselor Education Scholars' Symposium on UNI's campus. The event is sponsored by the Chi Sigma Iota Chapter (CSI) which is the International Counseling Honorary Society at UNI.The symposium is an exit requirement for graduates in the counseling program.

CSBS Student Research Conference

The College of Social and Behavioral Sciences (CSBS) hosts an annual Student Research Conference, typically in the spring semester. Graduate College Research Symposium

Honors Research Conference

Sigma Xi Student Research Conference

The UNI chapter of Sigma Xi has sponsored a student research conference since 1994. The conference is in the form of a poster session and will be judged for the best posters in the graduate and undergraduate categories. All students, undergraduate and graduate, that have been working on a scientific project are invited to present a poster. Please contact Dr. Jean Gerrath with any further information.

Intercollegiate Academics Fund (IAF)

The Intercollegiate Academics Fund (IAF), funded by student fees, supports intercollegiate experiences by reimbursing students for registration fees and travel costs. Specific parameters, guidelines and application forms are available at http://www.uni.edu/vpaa/iaf.

National Student Paper Competition

The Center on Race, Religion, and Urban Life (CORRUL) at Rice University invites all graduate and undergraduate students in the U.S. and worldwide to take part in the National Student Paper Competition. All entrants must conduct scholarly research using the newly released data from the Panel Study of American Religion and Ethnicity (PS-ARE).
