ETHICS IN SCHOLARSHIP FOR GRADUATE STUDENTS

Tuesday, October 29th, 1:00-4:00 pm, Maucker Union Ballroom C

This session is NOT a training about human subjects or IRB.  This workshop will help graduate students become acquainted with other key ethical issues involved in academic scholarship and research, such as maintaining integrity in professional relationships and authorship ethics.  The workshop will include brief presentations, role plays by student actors, and faculty-facilitated case study group discussion.  This is a fun, interactive workshop for all participants.  This session will satisfy the requirement for research ethics training for students employed on NSF and NIH projects.  Certificates of attendance will be provided.

Note:  Opportunities for faculty to serve as table discussion facilitators are available for this session - if interested, sign up for this on the registration form below.
