Grant Funding - support for all stages of grant development and management - help finding funds from government agencies and private foundations - grantsmanship training.
Research Services and Compliance - resources and support for research and other creative scholarship, including planning assistance, mentoring, datasets, seed grants, symposia, Research Advisory Council - oversees research compliance, including Human Subjects (IRB), Animal Subjects, Research Integrity, and related areas - provides guidance and training for faculty, staff, and students on research regulations and compliance topics.
Intellectual Property - home of the Office of Intellectual Property - information about protecting intellectual property through patents, trade secrets, copyrights and trademarks - information for business and industry on licensing intellectual property developed at UNI - guidance for the use of material protected by copyright.
The project concept form should be used by faculty and staff seeking external funding to outline their project and share information about their funding needs with the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs PreAward staff and with the UNI Foundation's Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations.
