All parents of current UNI students are automatically members of the UNI Parents Association. Membership is complimentary.
The UNI Parents Association Advisory Committee meets twice a year in the fall and the spring. Normally, the fall meeting coincides with Family Weekend. The committee is made up of parents of actively enrolled UNI students representing a cross section of some 20 families from the region. Being a member of the committee offers parents an opportunity to serve on a program committee, interact with university administrators, and network with other parents.
