Gamma Phi Beta - pancake breakfast

Gamma Phi Beta will host a pancake breakfast from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, April 5, at St. Stephan Student Center. Proceeds help support Girls on the Run. Tickets are available in Maucker Union before April 5 for $5 or $7 at the door.

Iowa's Entrepreneur Conference - EntreFEST 2014!

EntreFEST, Iowa's entrepreneur conference, will be May 14-16 in Iowa City. There will be educational tracks focused on small business owners, high-growth startups, women business owners, corporate innovators and economic developers. Register online. UNI faculty and staff can get a $10 discount by using the code UNISENTME. Annual Graduate Student Symposium, April 1

The Seventh Annual Graduate Student Symposium is Tuesday, April. 1. Public viewing of the poster presentations is from 1 to 1:45 p.m., in the Ballroom, MAU. Oral presentations are from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Maucker Union meeting rooms; and creative performances are from 6 to 7:30 p.m., in Davis Hall, GBPAC. The 46th Elementary Literacy Conference will take place April 11. Keynote speakers will be Gary Kelley, local illustrator and UNI graduate, and J. Patrick Lewis, poet and prose writer. UNI Outdoors is sponsoring two spring break adventure trips March 14 through 23. Backpack along the Buffalo National River Trail in the Ozarks and climb in Horseshoe Canyon Ranch, or backpack throughout the Cumberland Island National Seashore and canoe the Santa Fe River in Florida. Panther's Annual World Wide Scavenger Hunt (PAWWSH) is a new student organization that performs random acts of kindness throughout the Cedar Valley.
