Gwenne Berry named Chief Diversity Officer

Gwenne Berry has been named Chief Diversity Officer at UNI. Her role will be to provide senior-level leadership to the university's campus diversity and inclusion efforts, in addition to serving on the president's Executive Management Team.

Upcoming conference on inclusion and communication in Des Moines

The 16th Annual Second City International Conference on Disability Studies in Education, in collaboration with the Midwest Summer Institute on Inclusion and Communication, will be held from Monday, June 27 through Tuesday, June 28, at the Embassy Suites in Des Moines.

UNI to host Midwest International Piano Competition

UNI's School of Music will host the Midwest International Piano Competition on Sunday, June 5, through Saturday, June 11, on the UNI campus. The event is open to the public, and youth and professional performing pianists and piano enthusiasts are encouraged to attend.
