Proud UNI alums fly the Panther flag in Iraq

Five University of Northern Iowa alumni stationed with the U.S Army's 34th Infantry Division in Basrah, Iraq proudly display a UNI Panthers flag at their dining facility. The flag was donated by UNI Office of University Relations. The soldiers are finishing a one year deployment in Iraq this month. 

They are, L-R: Maj. Dan Hamilton class of '86, Maj. Steve Petersen '94, Lt. Col. Harold "Hal" Turner '78, Col. Ron "Curly" Albrecht '79, and Capt. Allan Hetteen '02.
