Campus Activities Board offers entertaining, fun and free events

UNI's Campus Activities Board (CAB) is a student organization committed to bringing a number of entertaining and educational events to campus throughout the year. CAB has brought numerous hit films to campus, as well as fun activities and notable speakers such as the cast of MTV's "The Buried Life" and Frank Warren, founder of the popular website, PostSecret.
UNI students enjoy drive-in movie night.
Their single most-attended event is likely the annual Celebrate the Seasons, a winter-themed event that occurs at the end of every fall semester that offers activities such as indoor "ice skating" and stuffed animal making, and attracts 600 to 700 people. Homecoming Week is by far the largest project CAB works on, with several events happening throughout the week.
"CAB is a good way to experience things in an entertaining, fun and free way," said Emma Maudsley, senior english education major and co-president of CAB. "A lot of them are new experiences. I would say take every opportunity."
CAB offers opportunities for all students to get involved -- students are encouraged to contact CAB with events and speakers they'd like to see at UNI and to get involved with the executive board. Those interested in joining CAB's exec board should contact Maudsley at firstname.lastname@example.org, or her co-president, Jennifer Miller at email@example.com.
