University Apartments
Requirements
ResNet provides Internet access to University Apartments through internet modems. Each apartment should include the following:
- Modem (provided)
- A/C adapter (provided)
- A telephone cord (provided)
- A network cable (available for purchase)

Each apartment is equipped with a Data jack for the ResNet Internet modem. You will need to plug one end of the telephone cord into the orange data jack. |

Plug the other end of the telephone cord into the Line jack located on the back of the modem. Plug your network cable into one of the four LAN ports and then into your computer's network port. Finally, plug in the AC adapter into the POWER connector and then into the nearby electrical outlet. |

The front panel contains LED indicators that show the status of the unit. When the unit is functioning properly, the following LED lights should be green and on: POWER, STATUS, and the respective LAN LEDs depending on which ports have a network cable plugged in. The ACTIVITY LED also should be flickering. The red ALARM LED will go on momentarily when you first plug in your modem, but it should turn off once a connection has been established. |

Registration
