Torah Crown, 1880, Poland.
The soul, like a deer, runs swiftly after torah teachings.

This seminar looks at contemporary religion as it is visible on the World Wide Web.  In particular, the course focuses on  Judaism.   Central to the course is student work in ethnography.  Students  learn about the diversity of contemporary Judaism through careful listening and observation.  Holding class in a computer lab, we use the World Wide Web as the primary location for our studies. We visit sites all over the world that tell the story of Judaism today.
